COVID-19 "Stay at Home" Executive Order
Business Operations:
Scioto Vending Services will be open and servicing all essential customers who will remain open and operational during the Executive Order of “Stay-at-Home” as established by Dr. Amy Acton, Director of Health, State of Ohio.
According to the Guidelines established by the Department of Homeland Security, Vending Operators fall within the category defined as "other retail that sells food and beverage products.” (Reference: U.S. Department of Homeland Security; MEMORANDUM ON IDENTIFICATION OF ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKERS DURING COVID-19 RESPONSE, Written by Cristopher Krebs, Director, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Dated March 19, 2020. What are we doing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- We will be checking the temperature of all employees upon arrival to the workplace. Anyone with a temperature greater than 100.4 will be sent home and quarantined for 14 days according to the CDC guidelines.
- Any employee experiencing the following symptoms will be sent home and encouraged to check with their family physician
- Fever (Temperature greater than 100.4)
- Cough
- Difficulty breathing
- All Employees are mandated to wash their hands frequently. More specifically, employees will wash hands upon arrival to the warehouse and prior to departing the warehouse.
- All employees must wash hands upon arrival and departure from all customer locations.
- Machines and touchpoints on our equipment will be cleaned and disinfected.
- We are continuing to clean and disinfect our office/warehouse on a daily basis, including all frequent touchpoints throughout the building.
- No visitors will be permitted in our building, except essential suppliers.
